Ann Lavin

Senior Director, Public Policy & Government Relations, Asia Pacific, Uber

Ann is responsible for working with Government, policymakers and third parties to create a positive case for change,

and a favourable environment for ridesharing and other innovations in mobility, food and beyond.

Before joining Uber, Ann led Google's Public Policy efforts across Greater China,Southeast Asia and Asia's aspiring economies.

She was also a Senior Advisor with McLarty Associates, a US-based strategic advisory firm,

and Vice President of the US-ASEAN Business Council, the principal US business organization in Southeast Asia.

Earlier in her career, Lavin worked in the US government in a variety of roles including a senior manager

at the US Department of Energy and the President's Commission on White House Fellowships.
