Member, The National Academy of Engineering of Korea / Professor, Konkuk University



While serving as a professor in the Department of Technology Management at Konkuk university,

he served as the Vice President of Strategy and Director of the Startup Support Foundation.

He has served on several governmental committees, such as the National Science and Technology Commission,

and the National Intellectual Property Commission, advising various government ministries and local governments.

He has provided advice to various government-funded research institutes including KIST and ETRI,

as well as universities and public companies such as KAIST, UNIST and Korea Health Promotion Institute.

He recently served as the chairman of the 2nd National Intellectual Property Master Plan Policy Review Committee,

and was elected president of the Korean Society for of Technology Commercialization & Scale Up.

He has been contributing lectures and columns for businesses through SERICEO and a daily newspaper

for several years.​
