Park, Jin has been with KDI or KDI School since 1992. He took an absence of leave three times, and worked as Director (1998-2001) for Administrative Reform Team under the Ministry of Planning and Budget, as an Executive Director (2012-13), Research Center for State-Owned Entities, and founding President (2018-20) of National Assembly Futures Institute. His academic interest covers public sector reform, development economics, and conflict resolution. He has worked as a consultant for many developing countries. His career goal is to be acknowledged by both ends of the political parties as a neutral scholar. He received his Ph.D. in economics from University of Pennsylvania, and B.A. from Seoul National University.
