Associate Professor at Nottingham University Business School
Seyoung Park is the Associate Professor of Finance, Risk and Banking at The University of Nottingham.
His research interests include Sustainable Finance and Household Finance. He has applied his quantitative investment and risk management expertise to the area of FinTech and InsurTech, Pension, Insurance, and Retirement.
He has published in total 25 papers in internationally excellent peer-reviewed journals including Operations Research, Operations Research Letters, Journal of Banking and Finance, Insurance: Mathematics and Economics, Economics Letters. He has secured as Principal Investigator and Co-Investigator in total GBP 1 million from various funding bodies including Economic and Social Research Council, Natural Environmental Research Council, National Research Foundation of Korea, Bank of Korea, Korean Re, Korea Risk Management Society, Daesan Shin Yong Ho Memorial Society.
He has been actively engaged for knowledge exchange and impact activities with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), The Financial News in Korea, KPMG, Samsung Fire and Marine Insurance, Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH) in Korea, Credit Finance Association of Korea (CREFIA), etc.
