CEO, The Align Partners Capital Management
Mr. Changhwan Lee founded Align Partners ("Align") in 2021 and currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer.
He is also a non-executive director of SM Entertainment (KOSE:041510).
At Align, Mr. Lee led shareholder campaign at SM Entertainment and acquisition of a 1% stake (~US$80mm) in Woori Financial Group
(KOSE:316140) and a 14% stake (~US$195mm) in JB Financial Group (KOSE:175330).
Before Align, Mr. Lee was in the KKR Korea's Private Equity team, involved in private equity investments including Oriental Brewery (~US$6bn) and KCF Technologies (~US$1bn).
Before KKR, Mr. Lee worked in Goldman Sachs' Investment Banking Division in Seoul, where he focused on M&A advisory for public and private companies in Korea.
Mr. Lee holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Summa Cum Laude) from Seoul National University.
