Brendan T. Chen

Brendan T. Chen is a Professor of Leisure Industry Management in National Chin-Yi University of Technology in Taiwan.

He has received his highest education from BS to Ed.D. degree from University of South Dakota in USA.

His background is in Recreation Management, Speech Communication, Health, Physical Education and Recreation.

For the sake of studying in US for several years, Brendan both has Eastern and western educational background.

Also, to a certain extent, he has special views on the culture of the East and the West.

Currently, Brendan becomes Founder & Editor in Chief of Journal of Tourism Sport Management.

Furthermore, Brendan Chen has published over 50 conference and journal paper and he has been an international journal editorial board

member of International CHRIE- HOSTEUR, Journal of Hospitality Marketing and Management,

dvances in Hospitality and Tourism Research, International Journal of Culture, Tourism and Hospitality Research,

European Journal of Tourism Research, International Journal of Cultural and Digital Tourism until now.

In the past, Brendan Chen had served as an International CHRIE, including Future Fund Committee, Awards Committee,

Industry Services Committee, and Conference Committee from 2010 to 2015.
