Ulf Carlsson

General Manager, Head of North Asia & Japan, Nasdaq

Mr. Ulf Carlsson joined Nasdaq in 1996. He has since 2003 been heading up Nasdaq’s operations 

in North Asia & Japan, based in Hong Kong.

He is the Chairman of Nasdaq Japan Ltd. and MarketWire China Inc., as well as the Director of the 

Board of Nasdaq Hong Kong Ltd and Nasdaq Singapore Ltd.

Previously, from 1996 to 2003, Ulf was the Head of Nasdaq Marketplace Systems Business Unit, 

responsible for development and support of the marketplace systems globally. 

Ulf holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at the University of Lund, Sweden.
