Head, Busan International Financial City Promotion Center
PARK Young Ho has almost 30 years of experience in capital market and now heads the Busan
International Financial City Promotion Center from February 2017. He is the primary contact for
global financial institutions with interests in developing their businesses in Busan Financial Hub.
He served as Executive Director of Korea Securities Depository, where he started his career in
1987. Between 2012 and 2016 PARK has been heading the Global Securities and Fund Division
and between 2009 and 2012 he led the Strategy and Planning Department of Korea Securities
Depository. He has BA in law from KonKuk University and MS in international finance from
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
