Yigal Erlich
Founder & Managing Partner/The Yozma Group

Yigal Erlich is the founder and managing partner of the Yozma Group a venture capital company in Israel. Mr. Erlich is considered as the founding father of the Israeli venture capital industry and one of the most prominent figures in the Israel high-tech arena. At the beginning of the 1990s, Mr. Erlich established Yozma, which was the first VC fund, sponsored by the government of Israel. 
Following its privatization in 1997, Yozma joined forces with the Ofer Group to establish Yozma II and Yozma III.
The group managed over US $ 220 million and has invested in over 45 Portfolio companies.
Between 1984 and 1992, Mr. Erlich served as the Chief Scientist of Israel's Ministry of Industry and Trade. In 1991 Mr. Erlich started the Technology Incubator Program that led to the creation of 24 Incubation Centers throughout Israel, as well as international R&D agreements and other programs.

Mr. Erlich is the former deputy chairman of the National R&D Council of Israel, the Chairman of MATIMOP, Israeli Industry Center for R&D, and the former Chairman of the Israel Venture Association. Mr. Erlich serves as a board member in several high tech companies as well as on Hadasit – the TTC of Hadasa hospital in Jerusalem. He is also a board member of the Russian Venture Company (RVC), which is a $1bil government Fund of Funds.

Mr. Erlich holds B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Chemistry and an MBA from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
 
 
ROB CHANDHOK
President/Qualcomm Internet Services

Rob Chandhok is president of Qualcomm Internet Services and senior vice president of Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. (QTI). Chandhok is responsible for aligning QTI’s hardware, software and services initiatives by driving the innovation and development strategies of QTI’s mobile software technologies. This includes the integration of mobile operating systems, and the applications written to them with the QTI’s industry-leading chipsets as well as driving the advancement of QTI products and enabling technologies that enhance the performance of QTI’s client and server platforms.
Chandhok also serves as president of Qualcomm Innovation Center, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of QTI focused on mobile open source contributions. In this role, Chandhok drives the strategies and development for enabling and optimizing open source software with QTI technology, and for relationships with the broader open source community.
Previously, Chandhok spearheaded the strategic development for some of Qualcomm’s most significant projects. He was a key member of the management team that developed and launched the company’s Brew mobile software business, and he also led engineering and market development efforts for QChat, VoIP push-to-talk over CDMA IP data, a technology subsequently licensed by Sprint-Nextel. Also, as vice president of engineering and market development, he acted as the chief system architect for MediaFLO.
Prior to that, Chandhok served as chief product officer of SunRocket. He established the company’s San Diego offices and brought his vision for IP-based home-centric data communications products and services to the company.
Early in his career, Chandhok worked as a research computer scientist for more than 10 years at the Carnegie Mellon School of Computer Science. His work was published in the research areas of programming systems and computer-supported collaborative work. In 1993, Chandhok served as president of Within Technology, a company he founded to commercialize research and new product development in the area of computer-mediated communication.
Chandhok holds 22 patents in software technologies and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.

Jimmy Rim is a founder & CEO of K Cube Ventures, an early stage VC based in Seoul. He founded the firm with Brian Kim, founder and chairman of KaKao who also was a co-founder & CEO of the biggest internet portal NHN. 
Jimmy founded K Cube Ventures because he believed Korean startup ecosystem has great talent and infrastructure but lack early stage investors. He is passionate about fostering entrepreneurship in Korea and building a healthy ecosystem. Also, he is very eager to bring Korean startups global. He is usually called as “Startup’s best friend” in Korea.

Before founding K Cube Ventures, Jimmy was a VC at Softbank Ventures Korea, an investment arm of Japanese Telco Softbank. At Softbank, he had a number of successful investments including:

Shin Cho

Dr. Shin Cho is Director of Yonsei Institute of Convergence Technology and a Professor at the Graduate School of Information, Yonsei University. Prior to that, he served as a Managing Director of the Office of Strategic R&D Planning (OSP), Ministry of Knowledge Economy. At the OSP, he was in charge of R&D planning and budget allocation in the IT industry. He also worked for SK Broadband as President & CEO and SK Telecom with various senior positions, managing Internet & Media Group, Strategy & Planning Group, and Marketing Group.
